Welcome to the Central Youth Group (CYG) Webpage! We invite you to take a look around and see what is happening with the CYG. Our schedule is filled with events including devotionals, weekly bible study, service projects, lock-ins, youth rallies, various area-wide events, retreats, camps and many different fellowship activities. The CYG desires to:
- Serve the each other and God, our creator
- Spread the Love of Christ everywhere we go
- Share in fellowship with one another
- Seek to grow closer to HIM
We are ambassadors of Christ (2 Cor 5:20). In everything we do we want to represent Christ. At school, at work, on the ball field, on a date, and in our homes we want be an example of Christ.
This is a journey, not a destination! Please join us on this journey. Our events are open to any of those who would like to participate. Bring a friend along! Numerous opportunities are available for you to be active in this life changing trip. Parents are also encouraged to be active in this voyage. Contact Chris if you are willing to help in any way.

Parent Appreciation Banquet - April 20th
The parents of our teenagers have blessed us in so many ways. So we have set aside this Sunday night, April 20th, to take a moment and honor them for what they have done. We will serve our parents a spaghetti dinner, get to know them in a very unique way, and enjoy our fellowship together. RSVP the church office @ 242-6115
Internet Safety Seminar - May 4th
The internet is an extremely useful resource, but it also has the potential to be an extremely dangerous resource. For that reason, the CYG will have an Internet Safety Seminar on Sunday, May 4th, in the Small Auditorium. Guest speaker, Cpl. Steve Harris of the Police Dept., will be here to cover the details of the dangers the internet presents. He will also provide tips to avoid those dangers. This will be an helpful seminar, please plan on being a part of it.
Teen Guys lead Services - May 11th
On Sunday, May 11th (which is also Mother's Day...just a friendly reminder!) the guys of the CYG will conduct the P.M. services. Several of our young men will lead songs, pray, read scripture and present what is on their hearts. Come support our young men!
Graduation Sunday - May 18th
On Sunday May 18th we will be honoring our High School Seniors. Chris and Bryan will both share a special message for our seniors. Our seniors will be presented with a Bible on Sunday morning as well as a few other gifts. That Sunday night, we will have a reception in their honor. This gives a chance for the entire congregation to show their love and support to the graduates. Graduation Sunday will be a special day that you won't want to miss, please plan to be a part of it.
Seniors need to give their Senior picture and 5 "growing up pictures" to Chris by May 4th.
